September 3, 2026 - Aircraft Mechanic – A&PABOUT THE ROLE
Jet Logistics is seeking an experienced A&P Aircraft Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Goodyear, Arizona. This hands-on position supports the safe, reliable operation of aircraft through scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, repairs and AOG support. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the flexibility to support a dynamic Part 145 operating environment. Hawker and/or Learjet experience is preferred.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Lead Mechanic, the A&P Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for performing and supporting scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs and modifications for Jet Logistics and customer aircraft. The position also provides AOG and line-maintenance support, assists with required maintenance documentation and return-to-service activities, and participates in rotating night and weekend on-call coverage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform and assist with safe aircraft maintenance and line operations
• Troubleshoot, inspect and repair Jet Logistics aircraft and other transient/customer aircraft as assigned
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, periodic inspections, repairs, modifications and general overhaul activities
• Provide AOG maintenance support for company and customer aircraft as required
• Help ensure aircraft, engine and avionics maintenance and repairs meet applicable quality and safety standards
• Maintain required maintenance records in accordance with applicable FARs, manufacturer requirements and company policies
• Follow company maintenance procedures, applicable FARs, manuals, technical publications and established safety practices
• Participate in required maintenance technician proficiency training, revisions and upgrades
• Support efficient and timely return-to-service of company and customer aircraft
• Assist with maintenance and upkeep of the aviation hangar and office facility
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned
POSITION OVERVIEW
• Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate, held for a minimum of two years
• Minimum two years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Hawker and/or Learjet maintenance experience preferred
• Strong aircraft troubleshooting and repair capabilities
• Strong computer skills; knowledge of Corridor and ATP maintenance-manual systems preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional customer-service skills and ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to work effectively and adapt within a rapidly changing operational environment
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Full-time, non-exempt position
• Compensation DOE (depends on experience), up to $37.00 per hour
• Based at Jet MX's Goodyear, Arizona airport facility (KGYR)
• In-person position
• Participation in rotating night and weekend on-call coverage required
