JET MX (pronounced “JET-M-X”, “MX” is an aviation acronym for “Maintenance”) was founded by aviation veterans who together offer our clients over 100 years of turbine jet maintenance and flight operations experience! Our leadership has successfully owned and operated respected FAA Part 91, 135 and 145CRS aviation businesses with clients including Fortune 1000 corporations, executives, US government agencies and leading air medical providers.
  • We understand your expectations as pilots and aircraft owners’ because… we are pilots and aircraft owners! Our principals have owned, operated, flown and maintained turbine jet aircraft operating in every sector of the general aviation industry.
  • Our expert certified A&P technicians have performed maintenance on nearly every type of reciprocating, turbo-prop and turbine jet aircraft in the market, from recreational planes to the largest heavy jets. But at JET MX, we choose to focus all of that diverse experience on aviation maintenance services for select aircraft types/models including Learjet, Hawker and King Air, as well as certain other turbo prop and jet aircraft.
  • Our facility is located at Phoenix-Goodyear Airport (KGYR), a popular general aviation airport located in the key flight corridor for the southeastern United States - just 25sm from nearby Phoenix-Sky Harbor International Airport (KPHX).

WHAT MAKES JET MX UNIQUE?

Our Mission

Over the past decade, the general aviation industry has seen significant consolidation amongst large MRO (maintenance, repair & overhaul) providers nationwide, turning into huge chains of service centers. These groups typically work on any/all types of aircraft with a disorienting choice of services, including maintenance, paint, aircraft sales, etc. As a result, many aircraft owners are paying high fees yet not receiving commensurately high level solutions or customer service.

We’re not aiming to be experts at all things to all people, only know our valued clients by a work order number, or have your valued aircraft parked in a massive hangar with 20 other “priority clients.”

Instead, JET MX offers maintenance experts with highly specialized qualifications and expertise, using a hands-on approach that delivers (1) focused solutions with excellence (2) individualized customer support, at market-competitive rates.

ADVANCED STAFF CERTIFICATIONS

Whether you are servicing your existing turbine jet aircraft, or purchasing or selling a new aircraft (including international import/export), JET MX’s technical experts maintain specialized certifications from the FAA allowing us to effectively provide these and other related solutions.

  • DESIGNATED AIRWORTHINESS REPRESENTATIVES (DAR-T)
JET MX has an on-staff DAR-T who is FAA-certified IAW 14CFR 183.33 to perform maintenance-related examinations, inspections and testing services necessary for various certifications and issuance of certificates. This allows JET MX to provide in-house maintenance solutions and service including aircraft imports/exports, airworthiness certifications and other specialized services not available from other MROs.
  • DESIGNATED MECHANIC EXAMINER (DME)
As part of JET MX’s commitment to ongoing education and training of our staff, as well as our mechanic apprenticeship program, we retain the services of a certified FAA Designated Mechanic Examiner (DME) for testing to ensure our company is maintaining the highest standards of personnel involved in the aircraft maintenance solutions provided to our clients.
  • A&P/IA
JET MX technicians not only hold FAA airframe & powerplant mechanic licenses (A&P), but additionally inspection authorization (IA) certifications, another example of the higher level of qualification/experience our staff delivers to clients.
