Goodyear, AZ – Jet MX, Inc. has partnered with the State of Arizona and the Department of Labor to create a full-time paid FAA Aircraft Mechanic apprenticeship program launching successful careers in the high-demand field of aircraft maintenance and technical support.
The exclusive program is operated by Jet MX on-site at Phoenix-Goodyear Airport (KGYR), in coordination with the Arizona@Work workforce program. Qualified candidates are selected to fill open position once per year and begin an immersive 36-month experience as full-time paid employees with benefits. The program’s typical schedule includes 1 hour of classroom and 7 hours of hands-on training work per day, Monday-Friday. Jet MX’s certified instructors cover 40 different subject areas, including math, physics, electricity, welding, composites and turbine engines. Program members will gain exposure to many of the general aviation industry’s most popular aircraft types, including Learjet, King Air, Hawker, Cessna Citations and Gulfstreams.
