Jet MX distinguishes itself from other MROs and maintenance providers by the technical and certification superiority of our most important asset - our people. Key staff have next level FAA and other accreditations such as DAR-T and DME that many other maintenance providers simply do not; this allows Jet MX to not only offer the highest quality solutions for your aircraft, but also services not available elsewhere, including but not limited to:

  • AIRCRAFT IMPORT/EXPORT
In today’s globally connected economy, parties seeking to acquire or sell turbine jet aircraft are looking worldwide for available assets and transactional partners that provide the best options. Cross-border international aircraft transactions to either import foreign (non-US) registered aircraft or export domestic US-registered aircraft to other countries represents an entirely unique and different set of requirements. Each country and its respective aviation authority can have different terms for the process, as well as unique operational regulations – for example, mandatory installed equipment such as TCAS version EGPWS, burn certificates for interior components, etc. Properly understanding these regulations and processes is paramount to successfully exporting or importing an aircraft.
Our principals have personally directed numerous international aircraft buy/sell transactions over the past 30 years, including pre-purchase inspections, airworthiness certifications, import/export administration and operating aircraft to and from destination/origin, including Canada, Mexico/LATAM, Europe and Middle East.
  • AIRWORTHINESS CERTIFICATION
A/W certification or re-certification can be necessary for a variety of reasons and categorized as either “standard” airworthiness certificate, or “special.” A/W certificate is authorization to legally operate a type-certificate aircraft in various categories, and designed to facilitate the FAA ensuring aircraft meet approved design requirements, maintenance and any design alterations. This is done in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and sub-parts Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) to establish the aircraft is in suitable condition for safe operation.
  • FAA CONFORMITY INSPECTION
The aircraft conformity process is established by the FAA as a critical and necessary step in order to inspect and confirm an aircraft conforms to both its type design and is specifically configured to meet its intended approved operational program, whether Part 121 or Part 135. This determination then authorizes an operator to actively operate the aircraft on its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) for commercial air transport operations, in accordance with applicable regulations. Jet MX is well-familiarized with FAA conformity and related processes from our own decades of experience as owners/operators of domestic and international air carriers for commercial purposes.
  • RVSM
Reduced vertical separation minimum (RVSM) is an ICAO standard implemented in FAA and international airspace to reduce vertical separation above FL290 from 2000 ft. to 1000 ft. minimum, allowing the FAA to increase airspace capacity while flying more safely. Both the aircraft and pilot(s) in command much meet certain RVSM and/or ADS-B requirements and procedures in order to secure a letter of authorization (LOA), as applicable.
Jet MX can inspect your aircraft and verify or modify it to be RVSM-compliant with the appropriate certified equipment, including but not limited to two independent primary altimeters, automatic altitude control system and secondary surveillance radar transponder.
  • PITOT/STATIC & ALTIMETER CHECKS
IAW 14 CFR 91.411, Jet MX’s certified technicians have in-house equipment to perform these mandatory tests on pitot tubes, static ports and altimeters on IFR-capable aircraft every 24 months.
  • TRANSPONDER
IAW 14 CFR 91.413, Jet MX offers testing and certification services for your aircraft’s ATC transponder every 24 months for IFR operation
