Goodyear, AZ – Jet MX, Inc., an FAA-certified aviation maintenance repair station based at Phoenix-Goodyear Airport (FAA 145CRS #JETR229E), announced that the U.S. Department of War (Defense) has approved its new Skillbridge program to provide military members with civilian career opportunities in aviation maintenance.
What is SkillBridge?

Jet MX is now a DoW-approved Skillbridge partner
The DoW SkillBridge program allows service members transitioning out of active-duty military service to gain hands-on civilian work experience through approved training, apprenticeships, or internships with industry partners, helping bridge the gap between military service and civilian careers. Service members gain opportunities to explore new civilian roles and industry partners gain access to the highly trained, motivated workforce of the United States military. Participation requires command approval and provides employers an opportunity to develop and evaluate talent while easing the military-to-civilian transition for service members. Statement from Jet MX:
“Jet MX is a proud supporter of our veterans and government military/defense contracting. And we require a highly trained, dependable workforce to deliver our jet maintenance solutions, so adding a Skillbridge program aligns with our business model,” stated program manager and Chief Inspector, Martin Cook. “We expect Skillbridge to improve our ability to connect with highly skilled men and women who are exiting active-duty military service and can take advantage of employment opportunities with our growing aviation maintenance company.”
Available Jet MX-Skillbridge Mechanic Opportunities:
Jet MX currently has up to two (2) aviation mechanic positions available through their Skillbridge program. Participants who successfully complete the program and meet other qualifications then can earn a position with Jet MX. DoW (DoD) military members interested in Skillbridge-Jet MX work opportunities should contact Chief Inspector Martin Cook.
